Tarot Americana

A reimangined tarot deck using American history and Americana imagery, based of the classic Rider-Waite deck. Each card is a digital photo collage using a combination of found imagery, my own archival photographs, and photos I took that were styled and modeled for each card scene.  The wooden box was made with the assistance of Tyler Frome out of walnut—to represent the Earth/Pentacles suit—with an inlay of Leopardwood (Air/Swords), Redwood Burl (Fire/Wands), and Abalone (Water/Cups.)
